Experienced Kenyan assistant referee Aden Marwa is back in the country after taking part in a two week orientation course in Switzerland for officials expected to take charge in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The vastly travelled official spoke to futaa.com and admitted all had gone fine and as expected in the training, and expressed his hope of another world stage show after previously officiating in a FIFA Youth World Cup in Mexico.
-Everything went fine and I thank Kenyans for their support; I am still in the candidature for the forthcoming FIFA World Cup in Brazil. I remain hopeful that I will make it, he said.
Marwa, a teacher by profession, from Kehancha, is the reigning assistant referee of the year.
