Kenya referees Aden Marwa and Gilbert Cheruiyot will be among match officials who will take charge of 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) that will be staged in Morocco.
The two are among elite referees from the continent selected by Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate the biannual tourney that will run from January-February 2018.
For the first time ever, the Video Assistant Referees (VAR) will be used in the tournament and the experienced Marwa has been selected as one of the VAR's. Cheruiyot, on the other hand, will serve as an assistant ref on the pitch.
Kenya was replaced by Morocco as hosts after failing to put the necessary infrastructures in place on time.
