The 2018 World Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Cameroon will now be played on a new date assigned by FIFA.
The tie, initially scheduled for Saturday August 27, will now be played on the 31st of August at the Godwill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
FIFA says the change in date is to accommodate the wishes of the television rights owners.
The return leg will now be played on September 4 at the Stade Omnisports Ahmadou-Ahidjo in Yaounde.
The first leg in Uyo will kick off at 7pm local time, while the return leg will start at 3pm.
The Super Eagles top the group with six points, and are trailed by Cameroon on four points.
