Enugu Rangers interim Coach, Chukwuma Agbo has said his side could have scored more than the 1-0 result of the Nigeria Professional Football League tie over FC IfeanyiUbah.
Striker Ifeanyi George made the difference in the match when he scored in the 34th minute against the visitors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu in the matchday 26 game on Wednesday.
Agbo, who praised the two teams after the match, said it was noteworthy that Enugu fans enjoyed their gate fee for the match.
-We would have scored more than a goal, but we failed to covert many chances that came our way.
-The players were up and doing because they knew that people are looking up to them to show why they are the defending champions, he said.
Agbo also expressed joy over the performance of the referees, saying the referees did well in the match.
Rangers now occupy the 12th position on the NPFL log with 35 points from 26 matches.
