Austin Eguavoen has resigned his position as coach of Nigeria Professional Football League club Sunshine Stars.
Eguavoen threw in the towel on Friday, with report saying he is not satisfied with the working conditions at the Akure club.
But futaa.ng found out that Eguavoen was under pressure after losing four of his five matches he handled at the club, and he bowed to the pressure.
We also learnt that the former Enyimba coach was losing support and trust from top managements of the club after suffering two home defeats in just five games.
The situation became worse when Sunshine Stars lost 2-1 at home to Plateau United on Wednesday, a result that put them on 17th place on the league table with 27 points from 23 matches.
