NPFL: MFM FC increase ticket prices for FC IfeanyiUbah clash

MFM FC have increased ticket prices for the Nigeria Professional Football League clash against FC IfeanyiUbah.

The game will be played at the Agege Township Stadium in Lagos on Sunday, June 4, 2017.

With the high number of spectators being expected for the epic fixture, the VIP stand now goes for N1,000 from its original N500, while the regular stand has been increased to N500 from N200.

-The Matchday 22 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) fixture coming up on Sunday between MFM FC and FC IfeanyiUbah is crucial and a must-win match for us, we are counting on your usual support to win this big match.

-We are aware that a lot people will be coming for the match, in order to have firm control of the crowd, hence the management of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club has thought it wise to increase the price of the match tickets.

-The V.I.P ticket will be sold for N1000. Any fan or supporter of MFM FC who will come to the Stadium wearing the team's jersey will pay N500 to sit in the V.I.P stand. Our fans who prefer to sit in the regular stand will either pay N200 wearing our jerseys or N500 without the club’s replica, the club wrote in a statement on Friday.

FC IfeanyiUbah had earlier in the week called on its fans in Lagos to storm the Agege Stadium to support the club.

The city of Lagos has a huge number of FC IfeanyiUbah supporters, and the club has begun a media campaign to draw its fans to the stadium on Sunday.

Both clubs are tied on 34 points each from 21 games played so far, with the Yaw Preko tutored side are placed third, one step ahead of MFM on goals difference, on the league table.

Both teams have won, drawn and lost the same number of games this season.
